What COMA Voices does:


  • Vocal Ensemble - For all voice types and abilities
  • Performances - COMA Summer School, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, St. Giles, Cripplegate, Trinity College of Music
  • Workshops - Regular workshop sessions exploring new music, vocal techniques and contemporary vocal repertoire
  • Open Score Project - Commissioning new music for our ensemble from Post-Grad Composition students at Trinity College of Music
  • Masterclasses - Occasional masterclasses from internationally renowned performers including Jane Manning, Sarah Leonard and Frances M.Lynch.

COMA Voices welcome new singers to join us for our exciting projects in 2006. We will be collaborating with COMA London Ensemble musicians, performing in high profile concerts and enjoying masterclasses from renowned singer Sarah Leonard.

Workshop rehearsals are on Tuesdays at St. Leonard's Church, Shoreditch, London E1, 7-9.30pm.

Next performance...

Holocaust Memorial Day concert in collaboration with COMA London. An "All-Comers" event where amateurs of all abilities can play or sing in the premiere of Stephen Montague's Chorale for the Cauldrons of Hell, written in memory of the Holocaust victims. All are welcome to join us and take part.

Saturday 28th January 2006 - Rehearsal 2-6pm, Concert 7pm.

St. Leonard's Church, Shoreditch, London - costs 7 pounds for participants.
Premiere of Chorale for the Cauldrons of Hell by Stephen Montague, with works by Emil Gorovetz and others, Shir music and the Amber Players performing music written in the concentration camps.
